In September 2010 our sail yacht CAPELLA, a GibSea MK II ketch was launched in the Messolonghi Marina and propped next to other ships on land. Due to mistakes made by the responsible personnel of the marina our ship fell off the cradle and hit the ground - resulting in following damages: three holes and a crack in the hull, cracks in the hull-keel-connection, cracks in the rudder blade, a structural damage to a cross beam, genoa furler broken just below the top of the mast, a broken bar, toe rail bent on both sides, torn railing and below deck a shattered furniture.

We are very glad and thankful that we - in the wake of this accident - could meet the company Lavrio Yachts. The owner Kosmas Amoiridis speaks German and his son Zavas Amoiridis is technically gifted. Already at the proposal stage, we were pleasantly surprised as to the precise and thorough way of their working, the offer and the technical documentation in German language were detailed and sound. All working steps were agreed upon together with an independent surveyor.

During the implementation of the work we were at home in Germany. By close contact via e-mail including a lot of photographic material we were always well informed about the status of the repairs, the final acceptance of work on site was thus a mere formality. Today, our ship is again in perfect condition, which is only due extraordinary good work of the company Lavrio Yachts.
No doubt, we can absolutely recommend the company Lavrio Yachts. They work professional, reliable and in time, besides the fact, that their final invoice amounted to the same price stated in their proposal.

Both company owners Kosmas and Zavas Amoiridis are very hospitable people, we have felt to be in very good hands at all concerns.

Bei unserer  Segelyacht Moody 42, wurde der alte Antirutschbelag entfernt, da dieser nicht mit Sikaflex verklebt worden ist, wurde bei der Entfernung das GFK beschädigt. Leider wollte die Marina in Leros, wo unsere Yacht über den Winter lag und den Belag entfernt hat, nicht die restlichen Arbeiten (GFK aufbereiten, neuen TBS Belag verlegen) übernehmen. Somit waren wir gezwungen auf den Weg nach Kroatien, bei einem Zeitfenster von 3 Wochen eine andere Firma zu suchen.

Bei den Vorgesprächen mit Lavrio Yacht bzw. Herrn Herrn Ameridis, hatten wir einen sehr guten Eindruck und auch ein gutes Gefühl. Schon bei der Ankunft in Lavrio und bei der Besichtigung des Bootes, sowie den  Besprechungen die sehr sachlich und Fachbezogen geführt wurden,  hat sich unser Eindruck von den Vorgesprächen nur bestätigt. 

Als wir drei Wochen später wieder auf unsere Yacht kamen,  waren wir von den hervorragend ausgeführten Arbeiten begeistert.

Diese doch sehr aufwendige Arbeit das Deck wieder in Ordnung zu bringen und den neuen TBS Belag verlegen wurde von der Firma Lavrio Yacht in Top Qualität erledigt

Die Rechnung war absolut identisch mit dem schriftlichen Angebot das wir erhalten haben. Bei dieser Gelegenheit möchten wir die Hilfsbereitschaft und die Freundlichkeit der Familie Ameridis erwähnen.
